Wadi Group is hiring Senior Cost Accountant
Responsibilities 1. Implements the day to day operations of the cost accounting function from management of unit costs to monthly close and analysis 2. Support the Cost Accounting Manager in the transition from the existing cost environment to a new cost system 3. Development and maintenance of standard costs 4. Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost statement along with supporting analysis 5. Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to the rest of Finance 6. Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers 7. Implement policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities8. Responsible for Inventory accounting and reporting Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 2. 4+ years of experience 3. Strong analytical skills 4. Proven experience in driving process improvement 5. Ability to lead, motivate and support accounting team 6. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills 7. CMA is a plus 8.
